First take at a logo for a bar/bat mitzvah teacher. Client's initials are A.A.
Have you seen something like this before?
I had this idea in the back-burner for a while, and I'm glad it finally came into fruition.
The mark is made of the elements seen in the bottom half of the shot.
Since I'm in the midst of a Whitney love affair, it was only natural I use it for the type. It's also a font that is serious, delightful, thoughtful and composed, all at the same time.
Your two cents are more than welcome.
After over a year of iterations (see Forrst posts one and two), this wonderful little fine portraiture gallery site is up!
See it live at legacystudios.com
Please do share your thoughts, and most importantly bugs and errors (if found).
Thank you Forrsters for your insightful feedback along the way.
Been busy creating all sorts of holiday graphics- web, print and kitchen sink included.
This header is finally live, and contains basic but nifty css transformations (for webkit + gecko), check it out.
I'm also seeking advice on how to best handle images and pixel degradation on CSS transformation zooms. Can you think of a cross browser solution that will enable crisp rendering on zoom without having to add multiple image?
I've just about completed the front end development for a mobile version of a popular diving equipment website. I must say it was quite challenging to strip down to the necessary elements and make them work in a simple UI.
This snap shows the process and my favorite section of the product detail page. Of course I want you to open up your mobile device and take a look at the full page in all its glory. Let me know if you see anything outstanding, something to pat my back for, functionality you hate or love...anything.
Open these short links on your mobile browser to see the product detail page and related ones:
I'm in the midst of creating a mobile version for the website of a large ecommerce company. One of the requirements for the product results/list page was to have a refine search. I've encountered numerous solutions from retailers like bestbuy and buy.com but wasn't happy with what they have.
This snap is my solution for adding a refine search module, showing initial state (left) and active state. You can also see a live version (just keep in mind it's a static page and optimized for viewing on mobile devices).
Is my solution on the money? Better? Worse?
"Find an awesome printer."
Created by Jessica Hische, this site is highly bookmarkable.
Do it.
Phew- So the first version didn't meet any sort of approval. Three laborious (not really) months later, I came up with this new mark.
This is for long-term care life insurance freelancing.
How are we feeling about this one? Also, should the "ER" be ligaturized?
EDIT: Here's version 3
Snap is showing [my] photograph, sketch and execution.
This will be used as a header on an iPad photography app I've been working on for quite a while, and is the main visual for a monthly contest feature.
